Chipotle to open Shophouse in L.A., Counterfeit ketchup scheme uncovered and free Domino’s pizza

In New Jersey a warehouse tenants discovered a warehouse full of counterfeit ketchup. The warehouse was found after bottles exploded and created a bug problem. Heinz has teamed up with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Criminal Investigation to solve the incident.

Chipotle announced the opening of the first Shophouse Southeast Asian Kitchen outside of D.C. The Shophouse  is to open in Los Angeles in early 2013. The announcement is a sign that Steve Ells, Chipotle CEO, plans to open Shophouse throughout the country.

Domino’s is launching a sampling campaign that is the biggest in the company’s history. Domino’s is giving away half a million pizza slices. Only 100 free slices will be available at each participating location. The give away starts October 23 from noon to 2 p.m. local time.
